David’s BBQ & Catering is a Gainesville restaurant that has been around for almost 50 years. They started catering around 2013 and have built a thriving wedding business over these years. While BBQ is obviously a specialty (hello, brisket carving station!), they do offer many other selections for weddings such as tasty passed appetizers, charcuterie, entrees such as chicken marsala and blackened salmon.

One unique thing that David’s offers is a full-scale wedding option which includes selections from their decor warehouse on the northwest side of Gainesville. This may include anything from your welcome sign and seating chart, your table settings, even decor for your ceremony and sweetheart table. They offer rentals such as linens and an audio guestbook, too.

Bobby, the Catering Manager, is skilled at what he does and walks his couples through everything from start to finish. If your needs are more basic, David’s offers dropoff weddings and can even prepare your order for someone to pick up. Once you have booked your date, Bobby is also available for a complementary tasting to help you narrow down your menu.
