On the southwest side of Gainesville off 34th St lies the Hilton UF Conference Center. If you have a lot of guests coming in from out of town, having your reception in a hotel might make a lot of sense so you can book a block of rooms. With several larger event rooms and a catering kitchen, plus a large parking lot, the convenience of this venue is a big plus.
